On November 4, 2020, an adventure journal was added to the MMORPG Black Desert Online – Caphras’s Record – Volume 1.
🔔In order to begin its implementation, you need to complete volumes 2 and 3 of the Caphras’s Record.
Completing Volume 1 of Caphras’s Record will reward you with 80 Caphras Stones

You need to go to the desert in the south of Valencia to Muiquun.

Break the Ancient Magic Tome’s seal in Tarif
To complete this quest, you’ll first need to complete Chapter 3, ” A Dream Burnt to Ash”, before moving on to Chapter 2, ” Hope that Cannot be Lost”
Take the Ancient Magic Tome (from Chapter 3) and head to Tarif. Interact with the forbidden book in one of Tarif’s houses (this house should be familiar to you from the main Mediahn questline; it’s full of floating objects)
Interacting with the book will cost you 50 energy points and an Ancient Magic Tome.
It is better to do this ques at night game time, then the fireflies will be better visible.
If playing at night doesn’t help, check your settings: Settings → Video → Quality. Disable the effects of other players and players in the distance
After interacting with the book, a blue glow will appear. Blue lights will then appear in the room, which must be destroyed, preferably with a character with an area-of-effect attack.
After destroying the flames, the Caphras’s Memory will appear in place of the Illegal Leaflet – interact with them to close this chapter of the journal.
If you didn’t manage to destroy the blue glow, or lost the Ancient Magic Tome, you can get it again from the Black Spirit in a dialogue for 50 energy points.
After receiving the reward for Chapter 3 of Volume 1 of Caphras’s Record, you can re-obtain the Ancient Magic Tome from the Black Spirit by spending 50 energy.

Get the Ancient Magic Tome from Kiyak of Valencia.
To get the book you will have to talk to Kiyak in Valencia (at night time in the game).
Take the quest from him. He’ll ask you three questions, and if you answer correctly, you’ll receive a book. Each answer costs 50 energy points. The answer choices vary.

Go back to where Caphras first arrived in the world.
Travel to Grána (Kamasylvia) and visit the Kamasylve Tree. Enter the tree and find a red Dark Shadow sphere to interact with.
