Details of the update for the Global Lab BDO test server, which was released on Friday, October 23, 2026.
Please note that Black Desert test server update information applies specifically to the test server itself and is subject to change when the official servers are updated.
Characters

Corsair
In a previous update, Corsair Succession received HP healing effects on Serenaca skills, along with increased damage for skills used to attack monsters from behind. With this update, we have increased the damage of several key Serenaca skills and improved combo transitions, allowing Corsair to more fluidly reposition behind monsters, especially when starting combos.

Class fixed and Changes
In the Arena of Solare, an issue has been fixed where, if a character’s maximum Resource (MP/DP/FP) exceeded a certain threshold, the entire resource pool would be depleted 15 seconds before the start of a match.
Content
Solare Legacy
The Solare Legacy system is being added. This system turns the time you’ve spent playing Arena of Solare with your favorite class into a mark of honor, giving you another way to stand out. Unlike the Arena of Solare emblem border, which reflects your skill and achievements each season, Solare Legacy shows how long you’ve been dedicated to a class across all seasons, regardless of whether you played Succession or Awakening. When the system is added to the live servers, your previous records will also count toward your Solare Legacy Score. We hope this gives you a chance to see what stage your favorite class has reached, while also giving you another goal to work toward as you aim for the next one.
- The “Solare Legacy” system has been added
- When a ranked match in the Arena of Solare concludes, 1 point is added to your “Solare Legacy” score for the class you played.
- These points are tracked per class rather than per individual character within your Family; therefore, the Solare Legacy score is shared among all characters of the same class.
- Additionally, these points accumulate across all seasons
For example, if you earn ‘Arena of Solare’ points with a Ranger character (Character A) in your Family, those points will also be shared with another Ranger character (Character C) within the same Family. These points are not reset when the current season ends; you can continue to accumulate points from your current total by participating in ranked matches once the next season begins.
- Once the “Solare Legacy” score for a specific class reaches a certain threshold, the corresponding Solare Legacy emblem for that class will be upgraded to a higher tier.
- However, in addition to the Solare Legacy score, you must also meet the minimum number of victories required for each emblem tier in order for the emblem to be upgraded.

| I: Start of war 0 points 0 wins | II: Courage 150+ points 30+ wins | III: Fighting Spirit 300+ points 100+ wins | IV: Invincible 600+ points 200+ wins |

※ The “Solare Legacy” record reflects the cumulative score for a given class across all seasons.
※ You can view tier information by hovering your mouse over the question mark icon.

- With the addition of the “Solare Legacy” system, the Arena of Solare UI has been updated.
- Buttons for “View by Family” and “View by Class” have been added to the top-left corner.
- Clicking these buttons toggles the view between “Family” and “Class.”
- When in “Class” view, the “Solare’s Emblem” is replaced by information regarding “Solare Legacy” (Solare Legacy score and match record for that specific class).

- The acquired Solare Legacy emblem is displayed in the following UI:
- Arena of Solare Main UI

- Arena of Solare Match Start Screen

- The match result screen in the Arena of Solare upon win (this is not displayed in the event of a defeat).

Important Notes Regarding “Solare Legacy “ ※ When the “Solare Legacy” system is updated on the official servers, your past match history from the Arena of Solare (ranked matches) will be factored into your “Solare Legacy” score. ※ For the Asia (TH/SEA) region, only match history recorded after the implementation of cross-play between the TH and SEA servers will be included in the “Solare Legacy” score. ※ You cannot earn “Solare Legacy” points from matches in which you received a penalty for being AFK (idle) or leaving the match early.
- The classes for the Tag rotation have been updated to Ranger and Corsair.
- During the period below, you can perform an Item Tag to the Ranger or Corsair class for just 1 Silver.
- Start: After the scheduled maintenance on October 28, 2026 (Korea) / October 29, 2026 (Global)
- End: Before the scheduled maintenance on November 18, 2026 (Korea) / November 19, 2026 (Global)
Monsters
World Boss Rawr-Rawr
Rawr-Rawr is changing from a Hunting Field Boss to a World Boss. Rawr-Rawr will appear at set times for each region. As with Garmoth, you can obtain its main loot through a weekly quest. Adventurers who rank among the top 20 contributors to defeating Rawr-Rawr can also obtain some loot directly from the boss. Five minutes after Rawr-Rawr appears, Narcion’s domain will form nearby. Obtain Narcion’s Energy within the domain to deal heavy damage to Rawr-Rawr. This mechanic is intended to help smaller groups defeat the boss if participation declines over time following the transition to weekly quests for its main loot. To reduce the need for frequent repairs while Hunting, we’ve increased the Max Durability of matchlocks/sniper rifles reformed with Rawr-Rawr’s Heart. Rather than reducing the chance of durability loss, this change raises Max Durability. We’ve also added a second reform so you can spend more time Hunting between repairs. We hope this update gives you a new goal to pursue and a new challenge to take on.

- The field boss, Rawr-Rawr, has been changed to a world boss.
- Rawr-Rawr appears daily at 19:30. Five minutes after its appearance, energy begins to overflow in certain areas of Narcion. By imbuing your matchlock with this energy, you can deal powerful damage to Rawr-Rawr.
- The boss Rawr-Rawr will begin appearing on Thursday, October 29, 2026; the specific appearance times may vary by service region.
- Rawr-Rawr appears daily at 19:30. Five minutes after its appearance, energy begins to overflow in certain areas of Narcion. By imbuing your matchlock with this energy, you can deal powerful damage to Rawr-Rawr.

- A new weekly quest, “[Weekly] Obtain Rawr-Rawr’s Spoils,” has been added.
- This quest can be accepted and completed in Narcion by characters at level 2 or higher.
- You can find this quest under the “Recurring” tab in the Quest window, listed as “[Combat][Weekly] Boss’s Roar: Rawr-Rawr”.

Inner Edania – hunting
Fugitive Khalk in Inner Edania Groups of Khalk under the influence of Despair’s Energy are coming to Edania. You may have spotted thornwoods emitting a violet energy near Voidekaia. After the update, some of these trees will radiate even stronger energy, drawing groups of Khalk and Gargoyles that circle overhead to absorb it. When defeating Khalk, there is now a small chance, regardless of Life Skill Mastery, to discover after the kill that the Khalk was particularly saturated with Hadum’s Energy. These Khalk yield more loot than usual. This is intended as a sort of “jackpot” element, adding a little extra excitement whenever you take down a Khalk. The Central Market prices of Perfume of Khalk and its crafting material, Khalk’s Skin, will also be increased. In addition, Perfume of Resolve, an upgraded version of Perfume of Khalk, will be added.
- Inner Edania, at the Journey’s End, Khalk and Gargoyles have begun to appear.

- When defeating a Khalk consumed by despair, there is a very low chance that a Khalk radiating a powerful aura will appear; this version of the Khalk yields significantly more loot.
- This probability remains the same regardless of your Life Mastery level
- “Essence of the Corrupted Khalk” (also known as “Khalk Blood”) is a new item that can be obtained from the Khalks found within Edania.
- This essence is used as an ingredient to craft a new item called “Perfume of Resolve”.
- Its price range on the Central Market is as follows:
- Maximum price: 2,000,000 Silver
- Minimum price: 500,000 Silver
- Khalk Blood can serve as a substitute for the blood of ogre, dinosaur, bear, lion, yak, rock elephant, and it can be used as an ingredient in various alchemy recipes.
- A defensive-type perfume
«Perfume of Resolve», has been added.- Unlike regular perfumes, the Perfume of Resolve can only be crafted using items obtained through Khalk hunting.
