In the MMORPG Black Desert, Gathering Mastery is a stat separate from level Mastery, determining individual Gathering Mastery.
High Gathering Mastery increases the chance of receiving items, as well as the maximum number of items you can receive.
The number of basic resources you receive will increase each time your Gathering Mastery increases, while the chance and quantity of gathering increases for special and rare items.
You can increase your Gathering Mastery through outfits, tools, accessories, and crystals.
You can check your Gathering Mastery in the “Character Information” (P) tab, and you can see gathering stats separately for each tool.
Types of resources
- Basic resources refer to basic items that can be gathered, such as wood, blood, meat, etc.
- Special resources refer to items other than basic/rare gathering items, such as Laila’s Petal or Deep Blue Hoof Root.
- Rare resources refer to materials used for enhancement, such as a piece of Sharp Black Crystal Shard, Caphras Stone, and others.
