On December 20, 2017, Black Desert introduced a mechanic for leveling up a character without participation – Black Spirit Training.
Thanks to it, you will be able to level up your character while you are in AFK, that is, you cannot actively play.
Black Spirit Training Conditions
The training can be used by characters who have reached level 50 and above.
🔔Please note: your character must not be in a party or raid to begin training. Your character must have a main and awakened weapon equipped
How to find Black Spirit training grounds
To begin character training, you will need to contact the Black Spirit Training NPC, Jamey Drucker, who stands near the training scarecrow in the large cities of the Black Desert game world.
To quickly find Jamey Drucker in the desired location, open the NPC search (magnifying glass on the left side of the screen) and enter a query.
How to start training
Once you start a dialog with Jamie Triker, you will find the following items in his store
You can level up your combat experience and skill experience, both separately and simultaneously. Each type of experience has a corresponding book with different usage times (1, 3, 5, or 10 hours), and the price varies accordingly..
Once you’ve purchased the necessary books, activate them and approach the training scarecrow located on the platform next to Jamey Drucker. Press R to interact with the scarecrow, and your character will begin training.
❗Pay attention:
- experience and skill books can be used simultaneously;
- during training, experience is awarded every 3 minutes: if you stop training before the next 3 minutes have passed, the experience will not be counted;
- you can use elixirs and food during training, but you can use them either before the training starts, or during the training through a quick slot (you must first place the food and elixirs in the slot);
- you cannot move your character or take any active actions during training.
Combat experience
In addition, as you train, combat experience only rises to the 99% mark, and you will have to increase the level itself by killing monsters.
Combat experience training is affected by effects that accelerate the pace of development: for example, the “Tome of War”, pet skills, and event.
Skill experience
Skill points are awarded when a character gains the required amount of experience. None of the bonuses apply to skill experience training
