On July 7, 2020, the MMORPG Black Desert Online added a new feature: you can now choose your Black Spirit’s appearance.
To be honest, I was really looking forward to this feature, since I once chose the largest Black Spirit and it refused to be summoned in the house, since it simply did not fit there.
So, you can change the Black Spirit’s appearance with a character of level 56 or higher who has completed the “[Valencia] Edana’s Descendant” quest from the main Valencia questline.
Summon the Black Spirit and click the button at the bottom left of the screen to change the Black Spirit’s appearance.
Select the type you like from the available icons and confirm your choice with “OK”.
Close the Black Spirit window and summon it again. You’ll now have the Black Spirit you selected.
Over time, as you complete the main questlines and adventure journals, the Black Spirit’s appearance options will increase.
If you want other characters to have the modified Black Spirit appearance, you’ll have to repeat the quest, and to do so, you’ll need Igor Bartali’s Pendant Decoration in your inventory. So, never discard it; simply storage it in your warehouse.
If you discard or lose Igor Bartali’s Pendant Decoration, you will not be able to obtain it again.
