Characters
Greetings, Adventurers.
The PvP balance adjustments we have been implementing every week will conclude with this Black Desert Global Lab update. As we enter the latter half of the Arena of Solare regular season, we aim to maintain a stable balance for the time being rather than introducing drastic changes to your combat experience. Of course, we will continue to monitor and review PvP balance, carefully addressing any areas that require adjustments in the future. Additionally, our next character balance adjustments will focus on PvE. We plan to share details regarding these PvE balance adjustments sequentially, starting this June. We will continue to monitor each class’s performance to ensure their unique identity and role across various types of content. Thank you.

Kunoichi
Kunoichi Awakening is a melee DPS and an assassin. However, because she could easily maintain Super Armor to deal damage safely despite her assassination potential, we have adjusted her skill combos to leave appropriate openings, bringing her more in line with her intended role. We have also adjusted Penumbral Blade, an exceptionally fast and powerful skill, to give opponents a fair chance to react by increasing its wind-up time and removing its CC effects.
Awakening
Core: Delighted Blast
- The defense effect has been changed from Super Armor to Forward Guard.
Half Moon Slash
- Changed so that stamina is not recovered during skill actions.
- The defense effect has been changed so that it disappears immediately after an attack.
Penumbral Blade
- The Stiffness effect upon a successful hit has been changed to apply only to monsters.
- It has been changed so that the appearance is visible immediately after the movement is finished.
Moon Storm
- A Stiffness effect has been added upon successful hit.
- Down smash effect has been removed.
Flow: Pinwheel Fury
- The effect of the defense effect has been changed from Super Armor to Super Armor when using skills.

Lahn
Lahn Awakening has been performing exceptionally well, driven by the increased utility of Deadly Dance since the last update. To address this, we changed this dashing skill, Deadly Dance, to consume Stamina and increased its cooldown, requiring players to use it more carefully.
Additionally, we adjusted the PvP damage of certain skills to make it harder to secure kills using only Super Armor combos after landing a CC on a target.
Awakening
Deadly Dance
- The resource required to use the skill has been changed from MP to Stamina 200.
- The cooldown has been changed from 6 seconds to 8 seconds.
- The PvP damage of the following skills has been changed.

Striker
Striker Awakening is a melee DPS that excels at disrupting enemy formations with Battle Cry. While absorbing enemy damage is necessary during these disruptions, he has been able to sustain combat with high survivability even outside of these situations. Therefore, we are making adjustments to reduce it.

Endless Explosion
- The HP recovery effect per hit upon successful strike has been changed from +98 to +200.
Ferocious Assault
- The HP recovery effect when using skills has been removed..
Flow: Bite Off
- The HP recovery effect when using skills has been removed..
Battle Cry
- The HP recovery effect per hit upon successful strike has been changed from +180 to +224.
Spiral Cannon
- The HP recovery effect for each successful hit has been removed.
- All evasion increase effects have been changed from +36 to +24.

Mystic
We have adjusted Mystic Awakening’s Dragon’s Rip to address situations where opponents were pulled in and left with no way to escape.
The defensive effect for Dragon’s Rip has been changed to Forward Guard, exposing her to CC. However, its combo was adjusted so she can cancel the skill and use other skills based on your judgment.

- The defense effect has been changed from Super Armor to Forward Guard.
- Improvements have been made to allow for quick transitions to Flash Step, Silent Step, and Mass Destruction combos while using skills.

Drakania
Drakania Succession is expected to thrive on the battlefield, leveraging the relentless healing of Succession: Markthanan’s Heart to continue fighting. Following the previous increase to her HP recovery, we have added Ion stockpiling to her initiating skill, Succession: Azure Onslaught. Additionally, we have made improvements so that when she successfully stockpiles Ion, whether by dealing damage with Markthanan’s Dominion or by taking risks with Prime: Skewer, she can unleash even more empowered attacks.

Brimbolt Annihilation

Succession: Azure Onslaught
- It has been added so that 3 ions are restored upon a successful hit.
Prime: Ascent
- The cooldown has been changed from 12 seconds to 10 seconds.

Woosa
Unlike those of other classes, Woosa’s movement functioned differently depending on the direction (forward, backward, left, or right). With this update, we have unified the mechanisms of her movement skills so they can be used in any direction intuitively.
Succession
Yangban Step,
Flitting Step, Chain: Flitting Step
- The skill “Chain: Flitting Step” now activates even after using “Yangban Step.”
- The skill “Flitting Step” has been modified to allow it to be activated even while on cooldown.
- Consequently, the skill “Chain: Flitting Step” has been modified so that it can now be activated instead of “Yangban Step” and “Flitting Step” when they are on cooldown.
- In accordance with the above changes, the activation method for linking the skills “Yangban Step,” “Flitting Step,” and “Chain: Flitting Step” has been changed.
- Yangban Step, “Flitting Step,” and “Chain: Flitting Step”: Modified so that stamina is not restored until the end of the skill animation.

Adjustment of the price of some goods at central market
We have adjusted Black Desert Global Lab’s Central Market Max Price for certain items for the same reason as the live server update back in April, released to address the items that are rarely traded because their Central Market prices are too low compared to their costs. For instance, items like Energy Potions which have seen increased demand due to recent Gathering updates, and the rare Triple-Float Fishing Rod which has a limited source of acquisition were rarely traded as their market prices failed to reflect their actual value.
We hope this allows higher revenue for the sellers, and easy access to desired items for the buyers for more fun adventures.
- The price cap for some items on the Central Market has been changed.
- Due to price fluctuations in the Central Market, the buy/sell waiting status of the relevant items on the Central Market is scheduled to be reset during the regular maintenance on May 27, 2026 (Korea) and May 28, 2026 (Global).
- Improved the ability to extract the Gauche Rawr-Rawr’s Heart when using the Mirror of Equilibrium from [Hunting] Master Matchlock or [Hunting] Gauche Marni Sniper Rifle.

Monster
World Bosses Quint, Muraka
- The issue where some of Quint’s attack motions were awkward has been fixed.
- Muraka’s gimmick for summoning black crystals has been changed as follows.
- When Muraka summons the Black Crystal, the range of the safe zone formed behind the crystal has been expanded compared to before.
- If Muraka’s HP drops below a certain level during the Black Crystal gimmick, he will now immediately stand up and resume combat without waiting for the gimmick to end.
- The visibility of the range indicator for the roar attack cast by Muraka after summoning the Black Crystal has been improved.
- Fixed an issue where a back attack judgment was applied when striking the summoned black crystal.
- Camera effects have been added to some of Muraka’s attacks.
- Fixed an issue where the Elephant Trap Knockdown debuff was applied when hit by attacks from Quint and Muraka.
Quest, knowledge
Quest (O) – The Elvia Atoraxxion quest, which can no longer be progressed in Recommended Quests, has been removed
Backgrounds, NPCs, Effects, Cutscenes
- The great alchemist Alustin taught Dalishain the method for transmuting an energy recovery potion.

Transport
Improving transshipment conditions for large vessels
- It has been improved so that overloading conditions are applied only when all large vessels exceed their maximum load weight.
- Accordingly, even if the loaded weight matches the maximum weight, it will not be overloaded, and you can use the ship technology normally.
Example) When loading 30,000 LT on an Epheria Greatsword with a maximum load capacity of 30,000 LT

Item Drop Cheer Animation Removal
Previously, when you obtained a valuable item during your adventure, your character would cheer. While this was a clear way to show that a rare item was dropped, it often put players in danger when the animation triggered unexpectedly in the heat of battle. To prevent such a risk while keeping the purpose of notifying you of rare item drops, we have removed the cheering animation and added a UI notice instead.
- Improvements have been made so that when a high-grade item is obtained as loot by defeating a monster during a hunt, a notification UI is displayed instead of the character cheering.
- However, if a high-grade item is obtained through means other than hunting loot, such as opening chests, the character will perform a cheering animation just as before.
- The position of the notification UI can be modified through the UI editing function.


- Reward information has been added to the Rose War application UI.
- The “Find My Items” UI has been improved so that pressing CTRL+F brings up the menu even when the request window is open.

Arena of Solare Penalty
Thank you so much for your interest and love for the ongoing Arena of Solare regular season. Today, we would like to introduce a new system to Arena of Solare. Arena of Solare is 3v3 “team-based” PvP content. Naturally, the performance of each individual team member is a crucial factor directly tied to victory. Recently, we have confirmed many reports regarding players who enter Arena of Solare and remain idle, disrupting the gameplay experience of other Adventurers. In this update, we are introducing a penalty system for this idle, or “AFK,” behavior. Going forward, inactivity in Arena of Solare will result in penalties based on specific criteria. Their severity will increase for repeated offenses, up to 30 days of matchmaking restriction. However, because these rules are systematically applied without exception when determining problematic behavior, we have carefully set the criteria to ensure that players do not receive penalties while genuinely trying their best. This system is aimed at improving your overall experience in Arena of Solare. With this objective in mind, we will continue to seek improvements to provide further updates. We hope you continue to enjoy the remainder of the Arena of Solare regular season. Thank you.
- A system has been added to Arena of Solare ranked matches where a penalty is imposed for doing nothing or performing an equivalent action.
- This penalty becomes stronger as the number of occurrences accumulates, and a maximum 30-day matching limit for Arena of Solare is applied.
- When a penalty is imposed, the user concerned will be given battlefield abandonment points (-35 points) for the match, and no win or loss rewards will be provided.
- The party assigned the penalty will see a notification message regarding the penalty assignment after the match ends.
- When attempting to match while a penalty is applied, a match failure notification message is displayed.
