Details of the update for the Global Lab BDO test server, which was released on Friday, June 12, 2026.
Please note that Black Desert test server update information applies specifically to the test server itself and is subject to change when the official servers are updated.
Characters
Following last week’s update, we are continuing balance adjustments with the objective of narrowing the PvE damage gap between classes. This week, we focused on Corsair Succession and Awakening, as well as Sage Succession, whose damage output was somewhat low when also considering factors such as subjugation difficulty and stability. We will continue to roll out PvE balance adjustments moving forward, and we are also preparing structural improvements for certain classes once the Arena of Solare regular season comes to an end. We are also closely monitoring the results of the balance changes applied to the live server this week. In this process, we confirmed that some classes are performing beyond the intended range, even when accounting for the factors considered at the time of adjustment. For these classes, we are preparing additional adjustments so they can maintain the intended level of performance, and we will share more details as soon as they are ready. We will continue doing our best to provide a better PvE balance environment. Thank you.

Blue Battlefield – DMG Dealt to Forts Adjusted by Ship Type
As the end time for each fort in the Blue Battlefield approaches, multiple guilds and alliances tend to focus their cannon fire on the forts. This often causes the occupying guild to change multiple times within a short period. While this can keep the excitement of victory alive until the very end, it left something to be desired in terms of the enjoyment that comes from planning and executing strategies. To address this, we have adjusted the durability of Blue Battlefield forts so they can withstand bombardment a bit longer, while also adjusting the damage ships deal to them.
- Blue Battlefield Fort durability has been increased by approximately 32%.
- The damage dealt by some large ships to Blue Battlefield Forts has been adjusted as follows.
| Types of ships | Damage increase/decrease rate |
| Galley | ▲ 11,90% |
| Improved Galley | ▼ 45,14% |
| Epheria Sailboat | ▲ 49,56% |
| Epheria Frigate | ▲ 49,56% |

| Improved Epheria Sailboat | ▲ 49,56% |

Blue Battlefield – DMG Dealt by Big Ships to Guild Galleys
In the Blue Battlefield, Adventurers often board big ships such as Carracks and Panokseons when Guild Galleys are at full capacity or when carrying out individual objectives. However, big ships had a relatively smaller role in combat compared to Guild Galleys, which play a crucial role in destroying forts, leaving something to be desired for Adventurers who wanted to make a greater impact on the battlefield. To improve this, today’s update increases the damage big ships deal to Guild Galleys. Big ships can now put more pressure on enemy Guild Galleys, increasing their ability to hinder fort destruction. As a result, it has become more important for Galleys to maneuver carefully to avoid concentrated fire. We hope these strategic elements make participating in the Blue Battlefield even more enjoyable. We understand that Adventurers in guilds that mainly relied on Guild Galleys due to having too few big ships available for the Blue Battlefield may have some concerns about today’s update. However, Guild Galleys will continue to play a vital role in securing victory in the Blue Battlefield. We will continue to closely monitor the situation after the update to ensure this remains the case.
- The damage dealt by the following capital ships to Guild Galleys and Improved Guild Galleys has been increased by approximately 24.8%.

Pit of the Undying – Kharoxia Difficulty Improvements
Kharoxia, who appears in the Pit of the Undying, had a mechanic where she could be damaged using attacks with Knockback or Floating. While some classes in Black Desert have many Knockback and Floating skills, others have more difficulty using them, causing the difficulty of fighting Kharoxia to vary by class. To address this, we have improved the mechanic so it can now also be triggered with other types of CC, allowing all classes to face Kharoxia using their own unique traits..
- Changes have been made so that, in addition to knockback and Floating, Kharoxia of the Pit of the Undying can be attacked with negative effects such as knockdown? bound, stiffness, and stun.

▲ Awakened Ranger – Stun effect applied when using Nature’s Tremble
Pit of the Undying – Ascendra Difficulty Improvements
Ascendra features a mechanic where Adventurers must use her summon, Kun, against her. However, while fighting Ascendra and repeating this mechanic, Kun would sometimes be defeated, preventing Adventurers from performing the mechanic. To mitigate this issue, we have increased Kun’s survivability and made additional adjustments so the mechanic can be triggered more smoothly.
- Summon Kun’s maximum HP has been increased by 50% compared to the previous version.
- The mechanics have now been improved so that the trick is performed first when Kun’s HP drops below a certain value..
- The activation conditions for Kun’s HP recovery scheme have been changed.
- Before changes: HP 50% or less
- After changes: HP 20% or less
- Improved Kun’s ability to now apply an invulnerability effect when moving to perform a certain trick.
Relocation of Certain Ocean Stalkers
Some Ocean Stalkers near Iliya Island spawned too close to the safe zone, causing Adventurers to fire at them from within the safe zone. Since cannon fire from within a safe zone does not deal damage, we have relocated these monsters to reduce this inconvenience.
- The habitats of marine predators and creatures from the “Hungry” group inhabiting the area around Iliya Island have been changed.
- Due to this, the target location for some missions has been changed..
- [Daily] Eliminating Hungry Sea Creatures
- Strange Creatures from the Great Ocean
- Due to this, the target location for some missions has been changed..

- Fixed an issue where Hekaru was awkwardly positioned in a certain spot.
Improving mole visibility and increasing profits
- Improvements have been made so that the dialog appears immediately after the mole is moved, making it easier to find.

- The range at which the mole recognizes an approaching adventurer and begins to flee has been reduced by approximately 28.5%, and the distance it takes to escape has been reduced by 30% compared to the previous version.
- The time from the appearance of the notification about the appearance of a mole until its actual appearance has been reduced by 2 seconds.
- Improved the light pillar that appears when a mole spawns, so it now matches its location.
- Fixed an issue where the Mole could not be hit for a certain period after spawning.
- Before changes: It was only possible to hit after the mole had completely emerged from underground.
- After changes: You can hit from the moment the mole appears above the ground.
- The amount of blush leafs obtained from moles has been increased..
- Mole: Increased by approximately 733.3% from the previous value
- Slowpoke Mole: Increased by approximately 335.5% from its previous value
- Pudgy Mole: Increased by approximately 173.6% from previous value
- Giant Mole: Increased by approximately 192.5% from its previous value
- Pit-A-Pat Mole: increased by approximately 135.7% compared to the previous value
- The Guardian Crush effect on the Dark Rift bosses’ attacks – Red Nose, Cowardly Bheg, Muskan, and Ferrid – has been removed.
- The Golem summoning pattern for Guild Boss Moghulis has been changed so that it only appears once per battle.
